Kurviger as an app is only available for devices with Android operating system and Google Play.

Name and Icon in Google Play and on Android device	Notes
Kurviger	The actual app, in Google Play available since December 2022.
	The black/white icon represents the actual app. It takes into account the new Android rules and is continuously developed and equipped with additional functions.
	In the standard version, the basic features are free of charge.
	In the Tourer and Tourer+ Premium subscriptions, the associated features can be used in full for the duration of the subscription with the paid Premium subscription (monthly/annually).

	In the forum and the documentation, this version is also referred to as “K3”, “K3 Beta” or “Kurviger (3) Beta” or similar.

Kurviger	The previous app, which was available in Google Play in the public domain until December 2022.
	The green icon represents the previous app. It takes into account the Android rules (as of December 2022) and is no longer being developed.
	Until further notice, this app is only available in Google Play under the account under which it was installed by the end of December 2022. A Pro subscription purchased by December 2022 will automatically expire at the end of its term (by the end of 2023 at the latest). Only the basic features can then be used.
	Availability of the app in Google Play if the initial installation was made by December 2022, see below.
	In the forum and the documentation, this version is also referred to as “K2”,“K2 PRO”, “Kurviger (2) PRO” or similar.

Kurviger Pro	The previous app, which was available in Google Play in the public domain until June 2021.
	The gray icon indicates the previous app. It takes into account the Android rules (as of December 2022) and is no longer being developed.
	The app Kurviger PRO purchased until June 2021 is only available until further notice in Google Play under the account it was purchased under.

	In the forum and the documentation, this version is also referred to as “K1 PRO”, “Kurviger PRO (2)” or similar.

The version is displayed for the current app in the settings selection.
Display of the version at the previous apps is possible by means of menu button.

When the previous app shows 2.x.x then this version is also called Kurviger 2 (or 2.x) in the documentation and in the forum.
When the previous app shows 1.x.x then this version is also called Kurviger PRO 1 (or 1.x) in the docs and in the forum.
Here x.x is a placeholder for the identification of the respective development status.

The previous apps will not be further developed. There are no more updates.

• Users of the previous app Kurviger PRO (version 1.x) can reinstall it until further notice or until incompatibility with Android version.
• An upgrade of the previous app Kurviger PRO (version 1.x) to the previous version Kurviger (version 2.x) with the subscription features or to the actual app Kurviger (version 3.x) is not possible.
• Users of the previous Kurviger app (version 2.x) with a Pro subscription can reinstall the app until the end of the Pro subscription or until it is incompatible with the maps or the Android version. Since the end of the Pro subscription (end of 2023 at the latest), only the basic features can be used.

Until further notice the apps are still available in Google Play.
Below you will find details if you can't find the app(s) in your device or in Google Play.

You have uninstalled your PRO app (1.x) on your Android device or you have a new Android device. You want to use the PRO app (1.x) on the device, but you can't find it in the Play Store.

Kurviger PRO (1.x) is still available in the Play Store. But only under the account under which it was originally purchased. Under this account you select:

• Manage apps and device > Manage >
• Then instead of Installed please select Not installed.
• Then Kurviger PRO should be selectable, select and install

To do this, the app must be compatible with the Android version of the device.

This is also possible on multiple Android devices. If you have the app Kurviger PRO (1.x) and / or Kurviger (2.x) and / or Kurviger (3.x) installed on the device, all installed apps can be used separately.

Google Play Help - Reinstall & re-enable apps

Both apps are not developed further. There is no possibility to switch from the app Kurviger PRO (version 1.x) to the app Kurviger (version 2.x) and their PRO features.

The app Kurviger Pro (1.x) remains installed and can be used until you uninstall it or until incompatibility with Android version.

Additional info: Your routes, bookmarks, recorded tracks used in Kurviger PRO (1.x) or Kurviger (2.x) as *.kurviger or *.gpx file can be used in the same file format in Kurviger (3.x) when transferring the respective files.

There is no direct path from the PRO app (1.x) or app (2.x).
