-Huawei / Honor introduced a so called battery optimization technique, where apps in the background can get killed or frozen in the background to "reduce battery usage". This is a known Huawei / Honor problem especially if you don't want a certain app to be killed or frozen, see for example [[https://phandroid.com/2017/02/02/huawei-honor-emui-first-thing/|here]]. You can try to protect the Kurviger app by "protecting" it. Go to ''Settings'', ''Advanced settings'', ''Battery manager'', ''Protected apps'' and protect the Kurviger app (__note: the exact location in the settings can vary by device and Android version__). However, we received reports that some devices might still kill the app, even though it is protected. If you find other ways of improving this behavior, please let us know.
