Block a Road (e.g., due to a construction site)

Please note that route recording is only available from version 3.4.2 of the Kurviger app.

Imagine you're driving and suddenly find yourself in front of a construction site or a blocked road. Instead of having to replan your entire route, you can quickly block the affected section with the Kurviger App's “Block Road” feature. The app will then immediately calculate an alternative route, allowing you to navigate around the obstacle or construction site with ease.

1. Start navigation: The function to block a route section is only available during active navigation.
2. Open 3-dot menu: While navigating, click on the 3-dot menu.
3. Select Block Road: In the menu, choose the option Block Road.
4. Mark the section: You will now be in a view where you can mark the section of the route you want to block.
5. Adjust the section: Click the right arrow to move the blocked section further from your current location. Click the left arrow to bring the blocked section closer to your current location.
6. Confirm block: Once you have marked the desired section, click the Block button to confirm. The app will then automatically calculate an alternative route.
7. Cancel block: If you decide not to block the road, click the Cancel button. The route blocking interface will close, and you will return to the regular navigation view.

That's it! With these steps, you can quickly adapt to obstacles and find an alternative route.
